
As the regulator for setting and maintaining standards, the Social Care Council is required to perform an annual audit of registrants completing the Assessed Year in Employment (AYE).
Your AYE will be either almost complete or completed when you are called for Audit and you will be called for audit three months in advance of the submission date.

What do you need to do when called for audit?

You must complete an Audit Submission form.
The Audit Submission form includes the following:
- A Summary of work role/s: If you have held more than one post, you must provide dates of employment and briefly outline each of the roles (250 words maximum).
- A Summary of your training and development days.
- Confirmation of having received supervision in accordance with AYE requirements
- A personal declaration.
Along with the Audit Submission form you will be asked to provide the following information:
- A copy of your Professional Development Plan (PDP).
- A copy of your mid-point reflective summary (minimum of 750 words each).
- A copy of your final reflective summary (minimum of 750 words).
