Induction Programme for Social Care Workers
Description
This resource has been developed to help social care workers understand what induction is and what to expect when they start in a new role. It sets out the first things a new worker needs to know to allow them to do their job safely and effectively with the first six months of starting work.
Background and Credits
The resource was developed by the Social Care Council to provide a digital guide to support registrants new to social care or those changing roles or employers within the sector. The resource is based on the two guidance’s developed by the Social Care Council and launched in 2017 as follows:
