DOH Approved Social Work Online Conference - 26 October 2021
The conference formally launched the newly published Approved Social Work (ASW) Quality Standards and is applicable to all ASWs; their line managers; ASW candidates in training and ASW Professional supervisors.
This event offered participants the opportunity to reflect on the complexities and challenges of the role and provided information on the detail of the Quality Standards and implications for ASW practice.
The conference also included a focus on the supports ASWs need to ensure that they can continue to offer the human rights centred practice that is so important to their role.
