Grief is the normal process of reacting to a loss.  Social care workers play an important role in supporting and caring for people who are experiencing grief and bereavement.

This resource is relevant for all social care workers across all settings and services and has been development to support you to embed the Standards of Conduct and Practice for Social Care Workers into your day to day work.

The Social Care Council is required to produce and publish Standards of Conduct and Practice for Social Care Workers. When you register with the Social Care Council, you agree to work to these Standards of Conduct and Practice.
